St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner. It's time to get working on those leprechaun traps. Here are some great, realistic ideas to have some St. Patrick's Day fun with the kiddos.
Start off with a simple, festive breakfast
A fun, easy way to kick off your St. Patrick's Day is with some green waffles and rainbow fruit salad. This is an actual picture, not a stock photo that you can't possibly replicate! For the fruit salad, I went with strawberries, kiwi, oranges, and blueberries.
Lucky Charms Math
Here is fun way to incorporate math into St. Patrick's Day. Give your kids a small bowl of Lucky Charms cereal and have them sort out the marshmallows and graph the results. You can download the Lucky Charms sorting mat and the Lucky Charms Bar Graph for free.

Pack a fun St. Patrick's Day lunch
Send the kiddos off with a St. Patrick's Day lunch. Some ideas are cucumbers, pea pods, edamame, grapes, kiwi, green apple slices, green bell pepper strips, spinach wraps (my kids love these), salad, pistachios, avocado, and guacamole. You could always do a rainbow fruit skewer too. I did a spinach wrap with meat and cheese, cucumber slices, mini fruit kabobs on toothpicks, and a skittles surprise.
Hand out St. Patrick's Day treat bags
Here are some cute treat bag toppers. You can just get snack size ziploc bags and add some gold candy such as Rolos, Reeses's Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey's Treasures, or candy gold coins. Download and print out the free treat bag topper and staple or tape it on top.
St. Patrick's Day teacher gifts
